I’ve been meaning to do this for a while. A proper blog — my domain, my design, my words. No algorithm, no platform lock-in, no ads. Just a clean space to write.
Why now?
I’ve had ideas scattered across notes, DMs, and half-finished docs for years. Some of them are worth sharing. A blog forces clarity: you have to actually finish the thought, structure it, and put it out there.
The stack
This site is built with Astro — a static site generator that’s fast by default. Posts are written in MDX (markdown with React components when I need them), styled with a custom terracotta-on-charcoal theme, and deployed on Vercel at blog.dincer.me.
McKenna built the whole thing in about 10 minutes. She’s like that.
What’s coming
I’ll write about:
- Building things — side projects, tools, the stuff I ship
- Design — typography, color, the details that make software feel good
- AI & agents — what I’m learning running Hermes, building profiles, and pushing the edges
- The craft — code that’s worth reading, architecture that holds up
No schedule, no pressure. Just writing when there’s something to say.
See you in the next one.
